Headset microphone not working
Using an SB X-FI Xtreme Audio sound card, windows 7 professional, Turtle Beach (x12) headset.

My laptop has sound but isn't playing music - help!
Hey all,
I have a Sony Vaio VGN-FW. At first, the only problem I had was no bass. I could hear the tremble fine, but no bass at all. I started clicking around under some sound settings and no I have no music at all however, when I "test" the speakers, I hear the test noise going off.

No midi output device
I have a Teaching-you Music Theory CD-ROM which I cannot play. I can play the individual audio/video files separately but not from within the program and cannot hear the voice-over commentary.

Usbport.sys causes high DPC over time.

error messages with TuneIN
Hi Folks, i listen to programs on Tunein and there are many different episodes to this one program i listen to.
Here's the issue, when i first click on the program it comes up and plays fine but when i attempt to listen to different episodes and click different dates it says connecting but i always get an error code, no # or anything just error.
Any ideas, i have all my drivers

Can I assign programs to multiple sound outputs?
My computer has built in sound, it also has sound over HDMI.
The video playback software that came with my blueray drive recognizes the sound over HDMI, and gives me the option to use it, while everything else comes out the computer's speakers.
Can I do this with a single program? I'd REALLY like to set my VM to the sound over HDMI, but that's not the point here [but I'm open for ideas...
