I have not installed - SoundBlaster Cinema or Realtek ALC 1150 codex drivers.

Headset Mic Jack not working
A few hours my headset mic stopped working on my computer and stopped picking up sound from me. It wasn't the mic's problem as it worked on another pc but not mine and was not working with Skype or any recording program. i have an Alienware Aurora R3 from Dell.
When i received the computer, in 2011, it came with Realek High Def Audio as well as THX TruStudio. I continued to keep my Realtek Drivers up-to-date.

Ear/headphones notworking, speaker fine.
Hello,
I have an ultrabook i5 ASUS that runs on windows 8
I don't have alot of knowledge in computers, but I've been trying to figure out what was wrong
When I plug in my earphones, the popup checking if I am using earphones don't pop up anymore, and the sound does not come out of the eaphones but the computer.
Speakers work perfectly fine.
Sounds are on.

Solved Sound Issue - Help ASAP!! :(

PC does not recognise a microphone
I have Windows 7 Home Premium. I wish to install and use SKYPE. I have a USB port on the front of my CPU tower which recognises the camera. Next to this is a plug-in port (pink). The microphone attached to the camera is not recognised nor is a free standing mike. The report is just 'device is not plugged in'. My PC has ports for 2 mikes - one on the front panel and one the back. Neither works....

Using a Graphic Equaliser With Realtek Audio?
I am playing an analog device through my sound card with 2 channel stereo and am wondering if Realtek have a built in graphic equalizer somewhere as I can't find one. If Realtek don't have an equalizer is there a third party software that can do the job? Your advice would be appreciated.

How To Stream Different Audio To Different Sound Outputs?

So today when i got home form school i found that my power supply shit the bed on me so to test if every thing was still ok i went and took my brother and hook it up and it was all good. but then when i tried hooking up my speaker to it but it says there is nothing connected. so this is my question could the short in the power supply cause the on board sound to short out as well.

I have Dragonfly DAC and needed to change settings in Sound tab (switched to "no sounds" profile), so various alerts and chimes wouldn't kick-in during (loud :)) audio playback. Windows detecting headset as generic USB, will not allow use of 5.1

windows keep swapping activation of speaker/headphone
I use headset (1 mm. cord same as iPhone headset) for Teamspeak and Garena and I found the same symthom on both application.
On application, I can select either default, speaker/Mic on Notebook or Headset and I can chat perfectly on any device until few minutes pass, sound starting to disappear.
I have to select another input/output no matter it is, default Device, headphone or built-in...
