Static/White noise in Windows 7 x32
I am experiencing audio static in my earphones. The noise increases with the increase in volume. I have realtek HD audio installed in my PC. I dual boot with ubuntu and i don't experience any such static while working in ubuntu. I have tried the DPC latency checker and the max latency is 184 µs

Can't Record Via Mic on Win7
I've got a Dell Optiplex 760 running Win7 and I can't record from a mic using either the back sound port or one of the two front USB ports and a plug in sound card.
The machine has integrated MAX onboard sound and currently two sound cards that it can see and device manager reports: both 'USB pnp sound devices'.

Sound only in speakers/no headphone option in playback devices
Hello everyone, so problem is my cousin have a really old pc of Fujitsu something and recently He installed Windows 7 ultimate to show off. Now his sound from headphone jack is not working. Only internal casing speaker are producing sound.

VGA to HDMI convertor - signal drops out when windows starts?

Hope somebody out there can help. I have recently bought a new samsung TV after my old one gave out. My new tele does not have a RGB port to connect a VGA cable to so I can use my PC on it like my old one did, it only has HDMI in and my PC has only VGA out. No sound through HDMI or motherboard
Suddenly I have no sound even though I didn't change anything. Usually I plug my speakers into my monitor since the monitor is connected to my NVIDIA 670 via hdmi and it works fine. Right now it doesn't work and neither does plugging the speakers directly into the audio jack on my pc.

At first, Explorer.exe didn't work right. It kept saying "failed to initialize".
Following some online guides, I issued regsvr32.exe over every file in the C: drive.

Solved No sound with WIn 7 & Ggigabyte 7n400 /Pro/L
I have currently installed the 6305 AC 97 driver. No sound at all even though the volume meter show levels going up and down as the song plays.
I have tried rolling back to the original XP driver with no success.
All volume levels are set to 100%
Speakers are set as default
Speakers are turned on and at reasonable volume level.

I need to measure the audio level(output preferably):) and if its close to zero for some 5 seconds - do something like mouse click at a certain location on screen.
